Method

What we actually checked

On August 25, we checked the public X profile pages of 850 selected AI and technology accounts. All 850 profiles returned successfully. We found 2,867 unique recent posts from 744 of those accounts.

We group posts around specific claims. One author can count only once in a trend. Posts from the last 24 hours count most. Older posts fade. Engagement has a smaller effect.

The source links under each trend show the evidence. Public X profiles show only a recent slice of each account, so this is a consistent snapshot, not the complete X firehose.

The larger panel changed the result.

The old list contained 93 exact handles. Under the same rules, it barely saw several of today’s strongest clusters.

Ad rules
